We’re committed to excellence, however on occasion complaints and appeals will occur. AbSec LDC views complaints and appeals as an opportunity to improve the organisation, its processes and materials.
We provide the opportunity for students to apply to have prior learning recognised toward a qualification or units of competence for which they are enrolled.
Credit Transfer (also referred to as national recognition) is the recognition of learning achieved through formal education and training.
We assure confidentiality, privacy, objectivity, and impartiality is maintained in the provision of training services.
Student rights, course fees, payments and refunds, complaints and assessment appeals, training and delivery expectations, additional student support and feedback processes.
We charge fees for services provided to learners undertaking training and assessment that leads to a nationally recognised outcome. These charges are generally for items such as course materials, textbooks, learner services and training and assessment services.
AbSec LDC collects, uses, discloses and otherwise handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) which are contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act).
