It is a requirement in NSW that all Aboriginal children and young people in out-of-home care have a Cultural Care Plan and a Cultural Support Plan.
This course is designed to provide carers of Indigenous children in their care with an understanding of their culture and ways in which they can support the cultural plans that have been put in place.
This one-day workshop will provide carers with strategies to work with child protection practitioners to ensure children in their care establish a connection or maintain an existing connection with their culture.
