Cultivating Cultural Awareness & Understanding Trauma: Course overview

Course Outline

Designed to provide those who work directly with Indigenous people, this workshop utilises an interactive, experiential learning model to enhance understanding of Indigenous culture.

This one day workshop will provide an understanding of the diversity of Indigenous culture and how history relates to the health and wellbeing of First Nations People.

Learners will develop skills to engage with Indigenous people in a culturally safe way.

This course is designed for those working in any role where they are required to have direct contact with Indigenous people.

Delivery mode

Interactive workshop are delivered on-line using Zoom by an experienced and qualified Indigenous facilitator.

Face to face on-site workshops are available.

We are open to arranging a tailored class designed specifically to fulfill corporate requirements, accommodating their needs accordingly.

Access to resources is provided and resources can be downloaded and printed as required.

All students completing this course receive a Statement of Attendance which lists the course outcomes.
