AbSec Learning and Development Centre (AbSecLDC) is the first facility of its kind: we’re the only registered training organisation in NSW owned and managed by Aboriginal people within the child and family space, offering courses specialised to service our Aboriginal community.
Background
AbSecLDC is equipping Aboriginal workers to meet the growing need for qualified staff in disability, leadership, Governance, child welfare and child protection in NSW. Our graduates will have the skills most needed in today’s community services environment, coupled with the cultural understanding to make a real difference.
